About

Out of the common passion for print derived the idea to form an accessive publishing house for projects specifically relate to architecture. Books conceived, constructed and crafted simple but not careless, elegant but not complicated. ARCHITECHNE was founded in 2024 in Switzerland by Dr. Korinna Zinovia Weber and Dr. Andreas Thuy.

Team

Dr. Korinna Zinovia Weber is an architecture historian, author and publishing consultant, specialized in built heritage of the 20th century. She studied architecture at TU Munich and ENSA-Paris-La-Villette and received her doctoral degree from EPFL for her research in rehabilitation strategies for post-war housing, financed by the excellence scholarship of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. She was a scientific assistant, lecturer and project manager at ETH Zürich and has been involved as publication consultant in several project in an outside university. In 2024, she co-founded ARCHITECHNE together with Dr. Andreas Thuy.

Dr. Andreas Thuy studied mechanical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe and architecture at the ETH Zurich and the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He gained international experience as a project manager at various architectural firms in Germany, Great Britain and Switzerland. He received his doctoral degree at ETH Zürich, where he was also working as a lecturer and scientific assistant. His contributions have been published in various specialist journals and presented at international conferences. In 2024, he co-founded ARCHITECHNE together with Dr. Korinna Zinovia Weber.
